Corn Syrup (CCDS)

Corn Syrup or condensed corn distillers solubles is a co-product of ethanol production. It is a liquid feedstuff that is a good source of protein and fat, also containing fiber and soluble sugars.

Corn Oil

Corn oil is an excellent source of energy. It is low in moisture and wax content along with less than 1% free fatty acids.

Dry Distillers Grains (DDG)

Dry Distillers Grain is a co-product of ethanol production. It is a palatable feedstuff and high in protein with an energy level similar to dry-rolled corn. It can be stored for a long period of time if kept out of the elements. Dry Distillers Grain is commonly used as a protein and energy source in finishing and growing rations. It can be used effectively for a protein and energy supplement for cows or stocker calves grazing low-quality forages.

Modified Wet Distillers Grains (MWDG)

Modified Distillers Grain is a co-product of ethanol production. It is a highly palatable feedstuff that is high in protein with a moderate level of fat. Modified Distillers Grain is a combination of corn bran and corn distillers solubles. It has an energy level that is greater than dry-rolled corn. This product can be stored for a period of time depending on the storage condition. Modified Distillers Grain is commonly used as a protein and energy source for growing and finishing rations; additionally, it adds moisture and ration conditioning characteristics to rations.

Wet Distillers Grains (WDG)

Wet Distillers Grain is a co-product of ethanol production. It is a highly palatable feedstuff that is high in protein with a moderate level of fat. Wet Distillers Grain is a combination of corn bran and corn distillers solubles. It has an energy level that is greater than dry-rolled corn. This product can be stored for a period of time depending on the storage condition. Wet Distillers Grain is commonly used as a protein and energy source for growing and finishing rations; additionally, it adds moisture and ration conditioning characteristics to rations.

Liquid Corn Steep

Incorporated mainly in compound feeds, it is used as a protein source and pellet binder. Arriving as a thick, hot, brown liquid, it is a concentrated mixture of elements from corn grains in the wet starch industry.

Corn Gluten, Wet, and Dry Pellets

Wet Corn Gluten is a product of the corn wet-milling process. Corn bran and corn steep liquor are the two components of gluten feed. It is highly palatable and contains a larger particle of corn bran compared to distillers grains. The protein content is moderate but highly degradable in the rumen. It has an energy content at or below that of dry-rolled corn.

Dry Corn Gluten Pellets have a lower energy content compared with wet gluten feed. It is a good source of protein and energy for growing cattle and cows or stocker cattle grazing low-quality forages.
